Like Don Quichotte, Tella sees his visions clearer than the reality. He is soft and trustful at the moments when he does not charge at Rossiante. He looks for mills and for giants to fight and he finds some, as his wrinkled forehead shows it. Like Charlot, Tella flutters through " The City ", dandy in his way, in spite of its work. He looks at the enjoyments and at the tears. He cherishes the lovers, the justice, the ordinary people. He does not have the flexible cane nor the duck step, but he has got the same velvet pupil. The fantasy art is natural for him, and he gets, as Edgar Poe, rigirous consequences. His houses are stretched in height like the Greco's nudes and he is also cruel as Goya. A vision becomes blurred and matures in him. One day a light illuminates his future painting. Everything in him meditates and wants to give it such as it is roughly, without technique, without control, as he says himself. Then he contracts and invents Something. This Something is just his art.
